SB26 is the brand created in 2018 by the designer Samuel Accoceberry and the blacksmith Bruce Cecere. This birth originates in the desire of Bruce Cecere to design and present an exceptional object during a program of co-creation Craftsman / Designer.
For this, he chooses Samuel Accoceberry, renowned designer not only for his collaborations with major brands but also for his concern to promote the great know-how and their authors. Together, they explored the limits of metal work, such as goldsmiths, to create the line of luminaires Moon which one of the pieces was presented at the Milan Salon in 2018.
To continue their collaboration and develop new projects, they create their joint signature SB26 (Samuel Accoceberry & Bruce Cecere Studio).
His dual training in art and industrial design as well as his collaborations for large agencies (Arik Levy, Paolo Zani, Antonio Citterio …) have led Samuel Accoceberry to invest all fields of design (furniture, industrial design, street furniture, lighting.
In 2010, he launched his studio and received in 2013 the Grand Prix of Creation of the City of Paris for all its achievements. His creations have been exhibited in France at the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. We find in the proposed line the paw of the designer: a sleek style with graphic rhythm, contemporary and elegant… A eulogy of simplicity for a designer with multiple talents.
After a vocational baccalaureate in sheet metal-boilermaking, Bruce Cecere continues his training with a master’s degree from the “Compagnons du Devoir“. By choosing the path of passion and requirement, he is brought to work alongside and work for renowned workshops, such as that of the great craftsman Joël Orgiazzi, holding classic French ironwork.
Installed in his Studio in Pantin since 2014, Bruce Cecere, passionate about the forge, experiments the metal: it hammers, folds, soda to give plasticity and flexibility to this raw material.
